This programme leads to an array of Law, humanities and social sciences degrees at Keele University, preparing students to thrive in their chosen area.

The Law pathway subjects prepare students for law degrees at Keele are informed by research and offer a critical approach to legal education in an enriched, inclusive environment, involving a range of professional activities and support. You will be able to go on to train as a solicitor or barrister following graduation, or prepare for a legal career of your choice from a range of options.

The Humanities and Social Sciences subjects are focused on the ways in which we engage with one another as human beings in contexts ranging from the local to the global. The research and teaching at Keele University focuses on the varied dimensions of human experience and on the full range of cultural, economic and social challenges we face in a fast-changing world.

Career prospects

Humanities and Social Sciences alumni go into a wide variety of professions, such as radio, journalism, teaching, the civil service, archives, museums, politics, law, orchestras, music and theatre houses, multimedia arts, advertising, and accounting.
