Overview

The Accounting program from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals was approved and launched in 1991. It educates students to function effectively in a wide range of accounting careers in all types of economic organizations. The program is designed to prepare graduates for accounting careers in industry, public accounting, government, not-for-profit organizations or for an academic accounting career. The program stresses basic conceptual knowledge in all fields of business administration as an essential foundation for an effective accounting career.

General requirements

The applicant must be a high school graduate (General, Computer Science and Engineering, Health and Life) or international school graduate (Natural Sciences) in the current year or the previous year.

A minimum SAT score of 1350 is required to apply. Meeting the minimum score does not ensure admission. Admissions are competitive.

SAT scores must be directly sent to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals from the SAT Test Centre.

An English language proficiency test is mandatory. Applicants should score at least 55 in the STEP test or its equivalent in TOEFL or IELTS.
