Overview

These specialists are prepared to respond to the development needs of multinational companies operating in Romania, as well as to the requirements of Romanian enterprises seeking to expand their activities internationally. They will be capable of participating in commercial negotiations at bilateral, regional, and multilateral levels, representing Romanian interests within the European Union during negotiations among EU member states, and possessing the knowledge, competencies, and skills necessary to contribute to the achievement of competitive advantages for organizations operating in both domestic and international markets. Graduates will earn a degree in Economic Sciences, specializing in International Business, and will be able to perform the operational tasks associated with the professional positions available to graduates of this study program.

Some of the competencies developed through this International Business program at University of Oradea include:

• Conducting studies of the domestic and international business environment for companies, private institutions, and public organizations operating in the field of international business;
• Negotiating and managing transactions involving products and/or services on international markets, as well as providing support in the preparation and conduct of international business negotiations;
• Performing analyses in the field of international business based on relevant national and European regulations and managing databases related to international business activities;
• Providing assistance in international business matters to public international organizations, local and regional communities (EU institutions, professional associations, chambers of commerce, clusters, etc.), as well as supporting the promotion of actions and initiatives within international economic organizations.
