About the program

The Data Science program at Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) produces socially-responsible graduates equipped with the knowledge and skills required for professional careers and advanced studies in information technology (IT), deliver high quality theoretical and applied research, and provide flexible and dynamic curriculum adaptive to the changes in IT needs of the workforce; through highly qualified personnel that maintains staff-student mutual understanding, thus creating pleasant and productive teaching and research environment along with a ​strong collaboration with the labour market and other educational institutions.

The area of information technology has many essential components: hardware analysis and design, software development and design, information processing and management, data sciences, extensive data analysis, intelligent computer systems, the internet of things, multimedia design and development, and many other theoretical foundations.
