Overview
The Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering program is run by the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering at Lodz University of Technology. It is taught entirely in English.
Objectives
- The main goal of the program is to provide students with fundamental understanding of electronics, telecommunications and ICT, especially with regard to the current state and development trends in these fields. The greatest emphasis is placed on the training in analysis and design of analog and digital electronic systems, microprocessor technology (including software), and optoelectronics, technology and construction of electronic equipment, implementation of modern telecommunications and ICT networks. Students also learn to find, select and verify information from various sources, including electronic sources.
- An important purpose of the training is also to familiarize students with the specificity of engineering work, including preparation for group work, for example on team projects.
