At Energy Systems Engineering from Izmir Institute of Technology the Department fosters collaboration among industry, government, academia, non-governmental organizations, and the public to address the technological, economic and social aspects of sustainable energy development and use.

Mission

It serves as a focal point for energy activities throughout the Institute. In addition, the Energy Systems Engineering Department brings together collaborating faculty and staff in various departments to carry out multi-disciplinary research that leads to holistic assessment of problems and solution options in meeting the demand for energy and resource production and use.

Exam Required for Application and Validity Period:
Students to be accepted from abroad must have at least 600 points from the Mathematics section of the SAT (Reasoning Test). Candidates who meet this condition will be able to choose three departments as their preferences during the application process. SAT scores are valid for 2 years as of the application deadline.
