Objectives
- The Department of Economics AT Dokuz Eylul University defines its mission as to offer a highly innovative reseach-oriented academic education on universal standards.
- The fields in the Department are, Economic Policy, Economic Theory, International Economics and Economic Development and Economic History. With its young and distinguished staff, the Deparment aims to acquaint its students with recent methods, approaches and theories in economics, and to train them as the future practioneers of the discipline. The medium of instruction is English.

General requirements
- The original document of the exam/diploma declared by the applicants with an international exam score/diploma grade and the Turkish translation of the document approved by the notary public or official authorities
- Study visa or residence permit (It is valid for foreign nationals)
- Bank receipt of the contribution deposit/tuition fee (For daytime education programs, Syrian nationals, Blue Card holders and T.R. nationals graduated from foreign high schools do not need to make payment to the bank.)
- Six (4,5 x 6 cm) colored headshot photographs (taken in the last six months, frontal, and the candidate must be recognizable in the photograph)
- High school diploma, placement through a national-wide Student Selection Examination, DEU School of Foreign Languages English Proficiency Test (Minimum 65) or TOEFL-IBT (minimum 72) or equivalent.
