Overview

As of 2017, 4 Professors, 1 Associate Professors, 6 Assistant Professors and 7 Research Assistants are currently working in the Department. When needed, part-time instructors are also employed especially for technical elective courses. The decisions related with the Department are made by the Department Committee which is composed of all academic members of the Department.

Electrical-Electronics Engineering Department is providing 30% English education since 2015-2016 academic year.The courses to be conducted in English in each semester are determined by the Board's decision.

Our programme has been accredited by MÜDEK from 1 May 2017 to 30 September 2019 and the programme has been given the EUR-ACE label for these dates to be valid. The Electrical and Electronics Engineering programme is offered at Baskent University

Admissions to the programmes are made in accordance with the rules and regulations set down by The Higher Education Council of Turkey in compliance with the laws and statutes. Students apply to Başkent University on the dates announced in order to complete their enrolment to the programmes. Unless a written excuse is presented, enrolment procedures have to be carried out by the students themselves individually. The process is administered by the Student Registrar’s Office.

The placement of students in the Programme is held through the National Student Election and Placement System which is operated by the Measurement, Selection, and Placement Centre.
