Overview

At the Bartók Béla Faculty of Music of the University of Miskolc the academic staff are artist-teachers, music academy graduates with extensive experience, most of whom also hold a doctorate in performing arts (DLA). In addition to your chosen instrument, the faculty offers you the opportunity to perform in symphonic, string and wind orchestras, early music, guitar and percussion ensembles as well as in choirs.

Career

In possession of your BA degree, you can work as a performing artist in orchestras, choirs, ensembles or can study MA in Music education and/or MA in Music Performance.

A video of a pre-recorded music material must be sent according to the announcement of the given programme. The admission requirements of the programmes are available here. If you receive a positive assessment, you will be invited for an online theoretical solfeggio and harmonics examination and interview

Official copy of the language examination certificate (minimum level: B2) OR an official document, issued by the previous university, confirming that the language of instruction was English

Medical certificate, vaccination card and HIV test (not earlier than 3 months prior to application)
Copy of valid passport / national ID
Proof of payment of 150 EUR application fee
