Graduates of the Environmental Engineering program aims at Zhejiang University of Technology should develop the specialties in terms of :

Basic theories and knowledge of environmental engineering in the aspects of inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, engineering graphics, applied electronics, principles of chemical engineering, environmental chemistry, environmental microbiology, ecological engineering, environmental monitoring, environmental planning and management.

Basic principles and design methods of water pollution control, air pollution control, noise pollution control, and solid waste management.

Skills of contaminant analyzing, environmental quality monitoring, environmental quality assessment, environmental planning and management.

Basic approaches of literature searching to obtain the cutting-edge information and development of environmental engineering and to prepare for the preliminary practical work.

Comprehending and translating the professional documents in English and working with computer software.

General requirements

Application form with ID photo (fill in online).

Photocopy of passport and all the visa pages.
Highest education certificate. Graduating students can provide pre-graduation Certificate. The original graduation certificate or notarized copy should be submitted before registration.
Transcripts for all the courses in highest education school.
Language proficiency certificates. Applicants for Chinese-taught programs must provide the photocopy of HSK certificate. Applicants for English-taught programs must provide grade report of TOEFL or IELTS test, or other proof which can reflect the applicants’ English proficiency (Not required for English native speakers).
Health certificate (within 6 month).
Non-criminal record certificate.
Two recommendation letters in English or Chinese (for graduate application). Letters must include phone number or email address.
