Educational Objectives

Graduates of the Electrical Engineering and Automation at the Zhejiang University of Technology will be well equipped with the practical abilities to design various electrical and control systems. After returning to their own countries, they can work in electrical and control technology industries, research institutes, universities, and other related communities in research, design, integration and engineering areas.

Students are expected to gain the following abilities:

Knowledge and quality in mathematics, science, and engineering;
Understanding the development and trend in the control and electrical discipline;
Mastering the basic principles in control and electrical engineering；
Skills in research and problem solving in engineering;
Ability of documentary search, data query and thesis writing;
Cooperative and organizational skills in interdisciplinary team;
Creative and innovation sense. 8.International students whose the principal language of instruction is English should achieve at least at the level of HSK Level 4 (International Chinese Competence Standard) .

General requirements

Application form with ID photo (fill in online).

Photocopy of passport and all the visa pages.
Highest education certificate. Graduating students can provide pre-graduation Certificate. The original graduation certificate or notarized copy should be submitted before registration.
Transcripts for all the courses in highest education school.
Language proficiency certificates. Applicants for Chinese-taught programs must provide the photocopy of HSK certificate. Applicants for English-taught programs must provide grade report of TOEFL or IELTS test, or other proof which can reflect the applicants’ English proficiency (Not required for English native speakers).
Health certificate (within 6 month).
Non-criminal record certificate.
Two recommendation letters in English or Chinese (for graduate application). Letters must include phone number or email address.
