Programme Structure
All students are admitted to the BSc (Hons) Scheme in Computing and AI. In the first year, they take a common set of subjects to lay a foundation for university study and gain a taste of the Scheme. In the second year, they can select the individual degree and study the corresponding content. All of these pathways feature a Minor option and an individual or a group integrative Capstone Project in the final year.
- Year One: Fundamental knowledge, laying the foundation for university study and gaining a taste of the Scheme.
- Year Two: Broadening computing skills, basic economics, accounting and finance concepts.
- Year Three: A strengthening year with core subjects like software engineering, systems security as well as computing/finance electives.
- Final Year: Specialisation in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning & pattern recognition, crowdfunding & e-finance, and e-payment & cryptocurrency.
