All students are admitted to the BSc (Hons) Scheme in Computing and AI. In the first year, they take a common set of subjects to lay a foundation for university study and gain a taste of the Scheme. In the second year, they can select the individual degree and study the corresponding content. All of these pathways feature a Minor option and an individual or a group integrative Capstone Project in the final year.
- Year One: Fundamental knowledge, laying the foundation for university study, a taste of the Scheme.
- Year Two: Generic broad computing skills, and basic business and management concepts.
- Year Three: Strengthening computing technologies and applications in IT.
- Final Year: Specialisation in different areas such as data mining, computer graphics, e-commerce, Internet computing, multimedia computing and game programming.
