Overview

Mechanical Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad seeks to combine excellence in education and research and will produce entrepreneur and solution providers for industry. The concept of science, technology and society; interactive teaching and collaborative research will be the focus of teaching at DME. The department will progress steadily and will gain excellence to be recognized nationally and internationally as one of the leading departments in mechanical sciences and engineering. With a team of dedicated, experienced and qualified faculty members, the department offers a balanced mix of theory and laboratory work.

DME will have all labs of multidiscipline not limited to design, manufacturing, control, dynamics and thermal fluid sciences and will be fully equipped with modern and state-of-the-art equipment needed by our students to learn and practice necessary skills.
