Overview

Students of International Relations at Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) will gain various skills:

• ability to use information and communication technologies and software to solve standard tasks of professional activity based on information and bibliographic culture and information security requirements;
• ability to identify, systematize and interpret meaningful empirical data from information flows, as well as semantic constructions in original texts and sources on the profile of activity;
• ability to establish cause-and-effect relationships, to characterize and evaluate socio-political and socio-economic events and processes, revealing their relationship with the economic, social, cultural and civilizational contexts, as well as objective trends and patterns of integrated development at the global, macro-regional, national-state, regional and local levels;
• ability to form digests and analytical materials of social and political orientation on the profile of activity for publication in scientific journals and mass media; ability to participate in organizational and management activities and to execute management decisions on the profile of activity;
• ability to prepare and execute documents and reports on the results of professional activities.
