The degree in Political Science at Western Caspian University equips students with a strong knowledge base and tools of political analysis that are useful in careers in government, business, professional schools, and non-profit organisations. It facilitates both the theoretical and practical knowledge required to understand complex political relations across the world.

The programme covers major subfields of political science including the parliamentary system, globalisation, political management and PR technologies, political research methods, political conflict resolution and international policy. Students learn valuable analytical skills that are crucial to the development of their academic and professional careers. Students must undergo a pre-graduation internship and defend a graduation thesis in order to receive a degree.

Upon successfully completing the programme, graduates pursue careers in government, embassies, ministries, NGOs, law firms and a number of associated businesses.
