You will study: individual and the dangers associated with human activity and dangerous natural phenomena; dangerous technological processes and production; regulatory legal acts on safety issues; methods and means of assessing man-made hazards and the risk of their implementation; methods and means of protecting an individual and environment from man-made hazards; methods and means of saving a person. As well as the determination of the level of potential danger at industrial enterprises, technological processes and equipment for developing the safety declaration; control of the state related to industrial labor safety and environmental protection at industrial enterprises and the stability of economic facilities in emergency situations.

Careers

Graduates of the Occupational Health and Safety at Work program at Satbayev University can work at industrial enterprises of all industries of various ownership forms, in institutions and organizations with a staff of more than 50 people in the security and labor protection services, industrial safety, divisions of Ministry for Emergency Situations of Republic of Kazakhstan, divisions under RK Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of population.
