About Medicine at Hasanuddin University

Located in the heart of Makassar Indonesia, our Faculty of Medicine has been producing competent, humanistic, and high-quality medical doctors for decades.

Our 5.5-year holistic curriculum is divided into pre-clinical and clinical phases. The pre-clinical phase serves foundational knowledge in medical science and practices through digital and active learning methods. The clinical phase emphasises hands-on learning through hospital and health care centre rotations across the city.

Our International program takes the curriculum one step further, preparing graduates that can excel Internationally through our exchange programs. Our partners include Gulf Medical University (UAE), Leiden University (Netherlands), Griffith University (Australia).
