 The Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering program of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology houses top-class faculties, who are well educated and well-trained from top-class universities in the world, in the various branches of Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, and Ocean Engineering. The department has fifty years of history of excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate study and research in the field of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.

The department provides well-equipped modern laboratory and computing facilities where the students can learn and demonstrate their theoretical knowledge. The department is always maintaining a very friendly and congenial atmosphere for teaching and research for both undergraduate and postgraduate level students.
