Mission

The mission of the Physics program of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology is:

• To provide instructional programs involving principles of physics and their applications as well as practical knowledge to the students enrolled in different undergraduate degree programs of BUET.

• To offer core physics courses, advanced courses, and hands-on research experiences to make the post-graduate students theoretically and experimentally sound.

• To generate new knowledge by engaging in cutting-edge research and promote academic growth by offering state-of-the-art research facilities.

• To collaborate with other national and international institutions and laboratories to enhance the academic and research activities.
