Overview
You will begin by covering core topics such as calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, numerical analysis, complex analysis, and group theory, gaining the essential mathematical tools and techniques needed for advanced study. As you progress, you will study specialised courses regarding real analysis, vector spaces, mathematical modelling, relativity, cosmology, and graph theory, developing a deeper understanding of both theoretical and applied mathematics.
The programme encourages you to develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills, enabling you to lead innovative projects. With access to state-of-the-art computing labs and mathematical software tools, you will be able to apply your knowledge in practical settings.
Research plays a central role in this programme, and you will receive guidance from experienced faculty as you engage in independent research, culminating in a capstone project in your final year. This project will allow you to apply your mathematical expertise to real-world challenges. You can explore the latest research studies in our Journal of New Horizons in Mathematics, and you can contribute your own findings to the journal.
