Overview

By properly choosing electives in the Computer Engineering program of The University of Lahore, students can specialize in knowledge areas such as Computer Architecture, Robotics, Digital Signal, and Image Processing, Real-Time Embedded Systems, Intelligent Systems, Data and Communication Systems, Digital System Design, Control Systems, Cyber Security, Simulation and Modeling, Micro/Nano Technology and Electronics.

As per the guidelines of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), the Department of Computer Engineering has adopted Outcome Based Education (OBE). It has developed Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) of all courses using Bloom’s taxonomy levels. These CLOs are mapped to twelve Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs). Assessments and evaluation of theory, labs, projects, etc. are linked with CLOs and PLOs. Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) of the Department provides feedback for the improvement of the program. The graduates of the Department are expected to demonstrate that they have attained a certain set of knowledge, skills, and behavioral traits by the time of graduation.
