Overview
Covering essential radiology modalities such as radiography, CT, MRI, and ultrasound, the BSRIT programme offers valuable clinical experience in purpose-built labs equipped with the latest imaging technology. Our Center for Healthcare Simulation and Innovation (CHSI), Ultrasound Lab, and Clinical Simulation Lab provide immersive, hands-on training using high-resolution ultrasound systems, real-time sonography simulators, and Doppler imaging technology.
You will also gain practical skills through internships at our affiliated healthcare units, including The University of Lahore Green Town Ultrasound Clinic, Sehat Medical Complexes, University of Lahore Hospital (UOLH), Mansoorah Teaching Hospital, Social Security Hospitals, and Eastern Medical Technology Services (EMTS). Throughout the course, you will master advanced imaging techniques while building a solid base in anatomy, pathology, and radiation safety. In the final year, students undertake a research project to deepen their expertise and contribute to the field.
The Radiography and Imaging Technology programme is accredited by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) and the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) and recognised by key radiology and healthcare associations, ensuring alignment with the highest educational and professional standards.
Career Prospects
Graduates have diverse career opportunities in healthcare, working as radiologic technologists, MRI, CT, and nuclear medicine technologists, sonographers, and radiation safety officers. You will operate advanced imaging equipment, capture diagnostic images, and support medical decision-making in hospitals, diagnostic centres, clinics, and research institutions.
