Applicants must possess a high school diploma.

They must also obtain a sufficient score on the ÖSYM exams (YGS and LYS) as determined by the YÖK (Council of Higher Education).
Additionally, since the language of instruction for the department is English, they must have completed preparatory education or passed an exam administered by the Foreign Language School (YDYO) or another institution whose validity is accepted by the YDYO.
