Overview

The (Hons) English Literatures course at University of Wolverhampton will focus on a wide range of literatures, from the canonical to the popular, from diverse authors. This degree seeks to inspire your passion for and knowledge of the literary and cultural texts from the medieval era to the present, by regional writers from West Midlands to the rest of the globe.

It will improve your understanding of the political and ideological significance of literature and culture in a vast number of contexts, especially in relation to gender, sexuality, ethnicity, religion, social class, and disability.
