This Environmental (Hons) course at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) integrates the lithosphere (land), hydrosphere (water), biosphere (living things), and atmosphere (air) concepts in providing students with ample knowledge of the environment.

In line with the United Nations’ sustainable development, the graduates are shaped to conquer the Sustainable Development Goals, including clean water and sanitation, affordable and clean energy, sustainable cities and communities, climate action, and partnership for the goals.

STPM (Science): Min Grade C in one: Additional Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.
STPM (Arts): Min Grade C in one: Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Business Studies, ICT, or Geography. Plus SPM Grade C in Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Additional Mathematics OR Grade C+ in SPM Mathematics, and Grade C in one relevant subject: Science, Additional Science, Engineering Drawing, Engineering Studies, Design & Technology, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Economics, etc.
Matriculation/Foundation (Science/Engineering): Min Grade C in Physics, Basic Engineering, or Mathematics.
STAM: Min JAYYID + SPM Grade C in Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Additional Mathematics OR Grade C+ Mathematics, plus Grade C in one relevant SPM subject.
Diploma/Equivalent: Min CGPA 2.00.
DVM: Min CGPA 3.50 in a related Science & Technology field + Grade A (4.00) in Science and Mathematics.
MUET: Min Band 3.0 (2021+) or Band 3 (2020 or earlier), valid at application.
