The Nautical Science and Maritime Transportation (Hons) curriculum from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) is designed to balance the academic requirements at the degree level with the competencies required for ship navigation officers. This program aims to produce human resources with expertise in ship organization, operations, and commercial management. It will increase the number of skilled graduates in sailing and shipping who will serve as ship navigation officers and contribute to the maritime industry through port management and administration.
