Goals

The aim in the Medicine programme from Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa has four components: 1. Institutional Culture and Structure:

To provide a responsible, reliable, accountable to nature and humanity, free, peaceful and continuous academic environment for all its components;

To offer a contemporary educational environment that facilitates learning at undergraduate and graduate levels in all branches of medicine. 2. Education: Adopting lifelong learning as a principle, open to evidence-based knowledge and innovation, committed to universal ethical values, adopting teamwork, respecting the rights of patients and healthcare professionals, understanding and preventing the priority health problems of the society, producing solutions, leading the development of health at all levels.

To train “good physicians”. 3. Health Care: To be a leading health institution that sets standards in every field of medicine, is taken as a reference, and offers solutions. 4. Scientific Research:

To enable interaction and cooperation of scientific disciplines at institutional, national and international level; To provide the necessary opportunities at the highest level to conduct problem-solving, groundbreaking basic, clinical and community-based research.

The Original High School Diploma or certificate of graduation and Turkish translation of it; notarized or officially approved by Turkish External Representatives.

The original copy of diploma equivalency taken from the Provincial Directorates of Republic of Turkey Ministry of National Education or Turkish External Representatives.

The officially approved transcript of the high school stating the high school courses, grades and grade point average of the student and a copy in Turkish; notarized or approved by Turkish External Representatives

Print of Exam Result Document and Turkish translation of it; notarized or officially approved by Turkish External Representatives.
