Banking and Finance (Weekend) from The University of the West Indies seeks to develop a formally trained cadre of banking and finance industry professionals. It targets persons who desire formal academic qualifications to bolster their work experience and advance their technical competencies.
Careers
On successful completion, graduates of the BSc Banking and Finance should be able to apply appropriate methodologies to the analysis and solution of financial problems including, inter alia, financial analysis, valuation of real and financial assets, risk management, and investment analysis.

General requirements
- Five (5) CXC/CSEC (General Proficiency Grades I-III from June 1998) or GCE/ BGCSE O’Level (Grades A-C) with compulsory subjects: Mathematics and English Language in addition to one (1) CAPE subject (Units 1 and 2) or one (1) GCE/BGCSE A’Level; or
- High School Grade 12 transcript with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and a minimum SAT I score of 1050.
