- shall complete a satisfactory personal statement assessed by the discipline within six months prior to the date of enrolment; and
- either successfully complete a performance audition of two contrasting musical works (expected standard of the Australian Music Examinations Board Grade 6 or equivalent in any style); OR submit a music composition portfolio of two original and contrasting works; and
- shall have a musical theory standard equivalent to Grade 4 of the Australian Music Examinations Board or equivalent qualification; OR shall undertake a music theory test set by the Music Discipline.

- relevant professional experience demonstrated to be at sufficient skill level and duration of time that satisfies the University that the applicant possesses the capacity to succeed in their chosen course;
