General requirements
- Students of biomedical laboratory science and those completing a biomedical laboratory scientist degree are required to have good sharpness of vision (vision acuity), normal reading capacity and normal inward movement of both eyes (near point of convergence), as well as normal stereo vision and normal colour vision. Those selected for the degree programme must obtain a certificate from an optician, optometrist or ophthalmologist, which must be submitted in a separately instructed manner no later than 14 days after accepting the study place. Student selection is conditional until the university of applied sciences has processed and assessed the information regarding the vision of the person who has accepted the study place.
