Overview

Science (Common Entry) (Hons) at the Atlantic Technological University is a great choice for students who are unsure which area of science is for them. This allows students to gain a deeper understanding of what each of the pathways entails before choosing which is the right one for them.

Year 1 involves the study of a range of science subjects, including Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Physics and Learning & Innovation Skills.

Key features

There is no need to have studied any particular Science subject at Leaving Certificate level,as the fundamentals of all science subjects are delivered in Year 1.

Students will be liable for an additional materials fee of €100 per year for certain full time programmes. This fee is not covered by Granting Authorities. Material Fees are not applicable to either Erasmus, Part-Time or Full time Non-EU students.
