Overview
This Human Resource Management programme at the Atlantic Technological University will produce capable, adaptable, resilient and self-confident graduates with a capacity for independent thought and judgement and a specialised knowledge of Human Resource Management. The degree is designed around six key themes:

Human resources skills development
Business knowledge
Accounting and finance
Sustainability and wellness.
Current academic thought and practices in the discipline of HRM are incorporated into the programme.
This is a block release and blended learning delivery award to serve the needs of those in employment and those who are balancing work, home and educational commitments.
Professional Accreditation
This programme is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD). This programme fulfils the ‘knowledge element’ of associate level membership of the CIPD. A qualification from the CIPD is the passport to a career in people management and development and is highly valued by employers.

General requirements
- The minimum Leaving Certificate entry requirement for all Higher Certificates (Level 6) and ab initio Bachelor degrees (Level 7) is Grade O6/H7 or better in five Leaving Certificate subjects including Mathematics and English or Irish with a minimum of 160 points.
