Overview

The Degree Programme in Hotel Management at Polytechnic of Porto fosters understanding and proficiency of different management areas in hospitality businesses as well as the development of practical on-the-job skills. The Undergraduate Degree prepares students for roles involving decision-making, which are expected of a manager in a service industry such as hospitality.

Throughout the programme, students will be in contact with the world of work via the lectures delivered by top professionals from national and international companies, the field trips and participation in the industry events (national and international) and the work placement carried out during the fourth semester.

The School of Hospitality and Tourism also provides ample opportunities for students to participate in international mobility projects, such as the Erasmus+ programme and other cooperation protocols, as it currently has a vast number of partner universities in different countries of the world.
