Overview
Program Learning Outcomes
Students at the Bachelor of Science Program in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Mahidol University will:
- Apply knowledge of medical sciences, engineering, prosthetic and orthotic sciences to professional practice.
- Demonstrate proficiency in conducting an appropriate examination, evaluation, and assessment of users across the individuals’ lifespan.
- Demonstrate competence in plan and following the individual prosthetic/orthotic service plans to achieve the standard of International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO standard).
- Optimise the use of appropriate equipment, materials, components and techniques in prosthetic/orthotic services.
- Demonstrate appropriately and accurately in providing education or useful information for users or any related persons.
- Demonstrate social and professional responsibility and ethical behaviours with virtue and the Professional Code of Ethics.
- Participate in the development of practice management skills in various settings
- Work effectively in an inter/intra-professional collaborative setting.
- Demonstrate proficiency in communication skills appropriately for a target group.
- Demonstrate appropriate competencies in research and evidence-based practice.
- Demonstrate in conducting a self-evaluation and reflecting the thought in an appropriate level.

- Scanned copy of passport profile page (Passport must be valid for over two years before arriving in Thailand) or national ID if passport is not available.
- Letter of intention to study in our program
- One of English test result valid not over 2 years and reached the following admission requirement scores.
- One of Mathematics test result valid not over 2 years and reached the following admission requirement scores.
- Documents required for candidates holding the ISPO Category-II certificate.
- The attached photo file with clear background, recently taken within the last 6 months and the size should not exceed 25 MB.
