Highlights

Yeditepe University accepts successful students at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and our graduates contribute to the arts and humanities worldwide. The aim in the department is to provide the skills and knowledge for constituting inter-cultural and interdisciplinary connections through which they build an understanding of plurality that will give them an unprejudiced viewpoint.

The undergraduate English Language and Literature programme at Yeditepe University offers the analysis of various genres in English literature, critical theory, comparative literature and American literature. In the department, a comparative literature option is also offered for the students with the aim of providing a general perspective in the frame of contemporary cultural and literature studies.

Students have the opportunity to have a double degree within the framework of Sokrates/Erasmus projects as well as attending the courses in different European and American universities. Students with sufficient GPAs whose appliacations are confirmed have the chance to get a Double Major degree in any other departments offered in the university.
