Overview

Biology from Ankara University aims to provide qualified teaching and education services in order to use basic biological sciences including microbiology, molecular biology, genetic and biochemistry etc. in favor of humanity and environment. For this purpose, the primary goal of the program is to teach and practice biology-based technologies in accordance with our country’s priorities and needs and within the scope of sensitiveness to nature and environment. Besides, doing applied researches with high added value and developing new technologies are also among the targets of our program.

Students at Biology from Ankara University will:

define the basic knowledge and concepts related with living organisms and livingly follow up these knowledges according to the today’s conditions.

use the scientific methods in gathering, interpretation and announcement of the data related with biology, and possess ethical values.

follow up the current developments in the world and use these developments in their study field.

carry out scientific presentation through analytical thinking, measuring and assessment in subjects related with their fields of study.
