Overview

On the Biological Sciences (Zoology) programme from University of Leicester  you will explore theoretical and practical aspects of animal biology and biodiversity including animal behaviour, development, ecology, evolution and animal physiology. 

You will gain a comprehensive, up-to-date understanding of the approaches and practical experience of the techniques that zoologists use to tackle some of the most important questions in neurobiology, behaviour, ecology and evolution. Your lab work and lectures will be supported by fieldwork, including overseas field courses.
