Being an important historical country, it is inevitable that it has been influential in a variety of ways. During the Italian (Hons) course from the University of Malta we will broaden your literary horizons with a keen focus on Dante Alighieri’s Epic poetry, along with other notable Roman and Italian figures who have contributed to its national literature.
Apart from studying modern and contemporary Italian literature in its visual mediums, we will also refine your morphological, syntactical and lexical abilities in the target language. In your final year, you may have the opportunity to carry out a research-based dissertation of your choice.
We also encourage you to participate in our Erasmus+ mobility programme for a diversified and multicultural academic experience.
