Overview

During the French (Hons) course from  University of Malta we will instil within you a deep appreciation towards the language in both a linguistic and Literary perspective, as we will help you refine and hone your spoken, auditory and reading prowess in the language. 

By understanding the influence that the language and nation has had on an international level through the eyes of authors, poets, and countries, you will be more au courante with the history that the contemporary country holds onto and upholds. 

In your final year of studies, you may have the chance to present a research-based dissertation in which you will carry out a research topic of your choice. We also encourage you to participate in the Erasmus+ mobility programme for a multicultural and diversified learning journey.

• As a French graduate, you will have a number of local and international career paths available.
