Overview
This course makes it possible for students to venture outside the confines of the Faculty of Arts’ areas of study and, within limits, explore knowledge from other disciplines.
The Bachelor of Humanities at the University of Malta is different from the B.A. degree in that:
- There is no restriction as to the number of areas of study from which students might choose study-units to register for.
- There is no distinction between compulsory, elective, and optional study-units.
Career opportunities
- Due to its highly flexible nature, the degree will strongly urge you to embark on your own exploration of the humanities and to fashion your individual course according to your specific interests.
- Consequently, the degree will enable you to deepen your knowledge of certain areas of your own choice, while giving you the opportunity to cultivate a general literacy in the humanities. This is a much sought-after quality by prospective employers in the workplace.
