Overview

International Bachelor Degree Program on Energy Engineering at National Cheng Kung University overall education goal is to provide students with basic knowledge of energy science and technology, then to guide students to identify advantage and disadvantage of various energy technologies, and finally to help students to construct their own thought with multidisciplinary and complementary, green technologies.

Considering students’ future developments in the field of energy science and technology, the IBDP-E offers fundamental courses and specialized courses, including traditional energy, renewable energy, energy saving technologies, environmental technologies, energy utilization, electricity management, energy economy and strategy, etc.

Careers

Graduates are expected to develop further study or to start a career in Energy Saving Technologies, Solar Photovoltaics, Solar Thermal Energy, Fuel Cell, Bioenergy, Wind Power, Hydropower & Ocean Energy, Energy Economy and Energy Strategy and other types of Energy-related technologies based on their own professional competence.
