Programme Overview
They must ensure that they are accountable, transparent and open in all their dealings. They shall flag truth as a virtue at all times, particularly in conduct during examinations, obeying the rules and regulations of the University, being spiritually sound, morally upright and having a good conscience.
The Philosophy of the Sociology Programme from Covenant University is anchored on the imperative of transforming the Third World into an independent entity both in knowledge acquisition and its application. This transformative role is only attainable by placing Sociology in the context of and applying it to those conditions militating against the development of the region as opposed to the armchair theorizing of the discipline in the West.
