Overview
The Integrated Science program at Hokkaido University strives to provide students with expertise in the core sciences, taught in English, and also includes elements of the liberal arts and business studies to provide students with a versatile and well-rounded education to pursue innovation in their future careers and endeavours, whether it be as scientists or other in professional vocations.
Course Structure
The ISP is a cross-disciplinary educational science program for international students interested in pursuing a degree in the natural sciences. The goal of the program is to educate students in an ensemble of scientific disciplines in the world’s most important and influential language.
The program’s strong cross-disciplinary nature also bridges the gaps sometimes existent between the individual core scientific disciplines (biology, chemistry, and physics). Students will be given an initially broad education across the scientific spectrum, and then allowed to specialise in their later years in accordance with their own interests.
