Programme Overview
The Chemical Engineering programe from Covenant University, situated in the College of Engineering, was founded in 2004. The department has a 5 years B.Eng. degree programme, 2 years Master’sprogramme and a 3 years Ph.D. programme. Our programmes are enriched with robust course outlines which are adequately and methodically packaged to prepare our students for the successful practice of the profession anywhere in the world. The undergraduate student population is over 390. Apart from the visiting lecturers, the academic staff strength consists of Professors, Associate Professor, Lecturers I, Lecturers II and assistant lecturer, some of them have many years of industrial experience.

General requirements
- The minimum entry requirements for admission into the Department of Biochemistry are credit level passes in five (5) subjects at the WASSCE/GCE, Pearson’s A-Levels/or its equivalent, obtained at not more than two (2) sittings. The subjects passed must include Mathematics, English Language and three (3) relevant Science Subjects from the following: Biology, Health/General Science, Food and Nutrition Science, Agricultural Science, Physics and Chemistry
- The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English.
- Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
- You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.
