Overview

On this Design and Business (with a foundation year) (Hons) course from University of Sussex, you’ll explore how design has flourished alongside new technologies. You’ll examine the fundamentals of business, and consider these in relation to design and ‘making’.

Focused teaching supports your transition into higher education, with an emphasis on university-level assessments, research skills and making the most of your studies. On successful completion of this foundation year, you’ll progress onto one of our Product Design courses with a strong reputation for design education and innovation.

You will also need GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics, with at least grade 4 (or grade C). In addition, you will need evidence of a broad range of GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4 or above (or grade C).
International Baccalaureate: 26-28 points overall from the full IB Diploma.
European Baccalaureate: 70%
You must also have good level of mathematics. Our entry requirements are guidelines and we assess all applications on a case-by-case basis.
