Overview
Courses within the curriculum can be divided into three main groups. In the first group, there are common courses such as Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution, Turkish, Ethics and Social Responsibility that all students of the university have to take. In the same group, there are also basic courses such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Applications and Law, which are important for a good economics education.
Key Features
- In the second group, there are compulsory courses of the Department of Economics from Cankaya University. Introduction to Economics, Micro and Macro Economic Theories, Monetary and Fiscal Policies, International Economic Theory, Econometrics and Turkish Economy can be given as examples of the courses in the second group.
- The compulsory courses of the department are the basic courses that prepare the foundation for the elective courses in different fields of economics.

- The applicant’s transcript, which specifies the courses and grades taken, signed by the High School Directorate, and the transcript’s translated version approved by a notary or a Turkish Embassy in foreign countries
- A photocopy of the candidate’s passport and its translated version approved by a notary or a Turkish Embassy in foreign countries
- 2 passport-size photos of the applicant
- Application Fee Receipt showing that the application fee, has been deposited in Çankaya University’s bank account
