Digital Design (Hons) University of Kent

Overview

Digital design is where creativity meets real-world problem solving.

You’ll explore how emerging technologies are transforming the way we design services and experiences, from healthcare and learning to transport, communication, homes and workplaces, with an inclusive mindset that puts people first.

You’ll start broad in Stage 1, so you can try different directions and discover what you enjoy most - whether that’s UX/UI, 3D production, game and interactive development, or immersive experiences. As you move into Stages 2 and 3, you’ll begin to specialise and build a portfolio that shows employers exactly what you can do.

And you won’t learn in isolation.

The course is shaped by industry input, with live client briefs supported through Kent’s Institute of Cultural and Creative Industries and an Industrial Advisory Panel of 30+ professionals who review outcomes, strengthen briefs and keep the curriculum connected to practice.

You’ll also have opportunities to showcase your work and grow your network, so you graduate with skills, confidence and a clear sense of your potential.
