Course overview

Through our research activity, our specialists contribute to the development of theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of dentistry.

The specialty subjects of the Dental Medicine program at Iuliu Haţieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj-Napoca are introduced from the first year of studies. In the early years, clinical activities are studied on simulators, in line with trends in the development of dental education worldwide.

Students are introduced from the beginning of their studies to the atmosphere of the dental practice, and clinical activities are carried out early, in parallel with those of basic training. The courses take place in an interactive system, through topical teaching methods, in modern amphitheatres.

Opportunities

Graduates of the specializations offered by the Faculty of Dental medicine can continue their university studies in Master’s, Doctoral, Residency or postgraduate degrees.

The evaluation of the candidates’ performances in order to be admitted to studies is done in two ways:

by written admission competition, in Romanian, for the Romanian citizens, the citizens of the European Union, of the EEA, of the Swiss Confederation, who opt for the unique competition held in July.

by a competition for the assessment of candidates’ academic performance and personal achievements, in accordance with the data contained in the personal application file, for citizens of the European Union, the EEA, the Swiss Confederation and third countries, who opt for this method of admission.
