The Medicine program of the Tokyo Medical University will provide students with:

• The ability to use ICT to collect accurate medical information and exploit such knowledge.

• The acquisition of an understanding of the significance of multi-disciplinary collaborative teamwork and the ability to exploit such knowledge.

• The acquisition of an understanding of preventive medicine, medical insurance, and the welfare system, and the ability to contribute to regional medical care.

To foster medical professionals imbued with the desire to actively pursue knowledge and interact with others with courtesy and consideration; to nurture medical professionals who understand the interdependence of basic and clinical research, and who can see the human organism as whole rather than as a set of systems.
